Waitlist privacy notice

This notice explains what we collect when you join the Mistok waitlist, and why. Mistok is not open yet; this page covers the waitlist only. A full privacy policy will be published before the app launches.
What we collect
- Your email address
- Your city, whether you are a foreigner in Ukraine or Ukrainian, your gender (or "prefer not to say"), and what you are interested in
- Your optional answer about what worries you on dating apps
- Your chosen language, and the invite code you joined through, if any
- A one-way scrambled code made from your IP address, used only to stop spam. We do not store your IP address itself, and these codes are deleted within a day.
Why we collect it
- To invite you when Mistok opens in your city
- To understand which cities to open first and keep the community balanced
- To improve safety features, using the worries people share
We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising. We will only email you about Mistok's launch.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in a dedicated, access-restricted database in the European Union (Frankfurt), separate from any other service.
How long we keep it
Until Mistok launches and you decide whether to create an account. If Mistok does not launch, we delete the waitlist within 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to support@mistok.app from the email you signed up with. We will act on your request within 30 days.
Age
The waitlist is for people aged 18 or older only.
